What does Allahu Akbar mean in Turkish?
“Allahu Akbar” means “the God is the greatest” in Arabic. The Turkish phrase “Tanrı en uludur.” is the translation of “the God is the greatest” or “Allahu Akbar”. Though “Allah-ü Ekber” (with “eh” sound in ekber not “ah” like in akbar) is also used colloquially in liturgy.Feb 24, 2019
